About Hayli

My name is Hayli Bicknell, and I’ve been proud to work in the construction industry for nearly eight years. I run the building side of Bicknell Barndominiums, while my husband, Taylor, owns and operates Bicknell Excavating. Together, we bring a strong foundation of skill and dedication to every project .

How I Got Started

I grew up watching my dad fix and build anything he could get his hands on. By 2019, I built our first barndominium. We sold it, built another, and before long word spread. That’s when Bicknell Barndominiums took off .

What I Do

When you work with me, I handle the building side start to finish. I guide design based on your land, keep the schedule tight, and stay in constant communication. Most builds finish in about five months. Taylor handles all excavation and pad work. If your acreage allows, he can even cut a pond to save you money on dirt .

Our Family

Outside of work, life revolves around our two amazing kids, Jagger and Jayd, and our dog, Jacks. We love spending time outdoors—riding side-by-sides, fishing, and making memories with friends and family. When Taylor and I get a rare moment to ourselves, you’ll usually find us at the casino playing a few hands of Texas Hold’em.
 
I’m proud to be a woman builder in a male-dominated field. At bids, folks sometimes assume Taylor is the builder, but he’s quick to point back to me. I run the build. He runs the dirt. And together, we make sure your home starts right and finishes strong .
