Red Iron Metal Shop Kits | Bicknell East Texas

Why Choose a Metal Shop Kit

A metal shop kit gives you the structure and materials without the cost of a turnkey build. Kits are a good choice if you want to save money by doing some or all of the work yourself, or if you already have trusted local contractors. We provide the package. You decide how much of the build you handle.

Every shop kit starts with your land. We walk the property first to check slope, soil, and access. That step keeps the design practical and prevents mistakes later. A shop that looks right on paper may not sit well on your acreage without adjustments.

What’s in a Kit

Our kits include red iron steel framing, roof panels, wall panels, trim, and fasteners. You can choose a bolt-up kit for quicker assembly or a weld-up kit for more flexibility. Both are engineered for strength and designed to stand up to East Texas weather.

Add-ons can include framed openings for overhead doors, walk-through doors, windows, and insulation packages. The kit can be as basic as a storage shell or as complete as a shop with finished spaces.

Why Build a Metal Shop

A shop is more than walls and a roof. It’s a place to protect your equipment, store supplies, and get work done. A metal shop stands up to weather, gives you wide open spans, and can be finished as simply or as fully as you want. Whether you need a barn-style shop, a workshop with climate control, or a mixed-use space with storage and office, we design it around your land and your purpose.

Excavation and Pad Work

Every shop starts with a solid foundation. Our excavation is in house, handled by my husband, so you don’t wait on outside contractors. Pad work is included when we build. If your acreage allows, we can cut a pond and use that dirt for the pad. That saves money and gives you another feature on your property.

Insulation and Comfort

If you want to work in your shop year-round, insulation matters. We supply spray foam and connect you with installers. A typical spec is 1.5 inches of closed-cell foam on the roof and walls. That keeps the shop cool in summer, warm in winter, and quieter inside.

Flexible Build Options

You can put up the kit yourself, hire your own contractors, or bring us in for part of the work. Some landowners want us to handle the shell and leave the interior to them. Others just want materials delivered. We adjust based on your project and budget.

Trusted Team Since 2019

Even when we supply only the kit, you get support from a builder who knows East Texas soils, weather, and timelines. We’ve been working with the same subs since 2019, and we understand what it takes to get a shop standing on schedule. You’re not ordering from a catalog. You’re working with locals who build here every day.
